Feeling God/Knowing God

Have I had ‘seasons’ when I didn’t feel God?

Sure I have, I haven’t felt God for sixteen years like I do now since I’ve experienced God beginning to answer my prayers.

God has kept me safe, sane, provided for, loved, and has grown me. But feeling Him close, not like I wanted to. It made me better though. I wanted what I wanted, He gave me what I needed. I’m a better man for it. It’s not about feeling close, but knowing He’s there.
